Midsummer Magic

Circle Wednesday, 15 June, on your calendar for a very special event at the Aberfeldy Town Hall. The youth of Aberfeldy are presenting - Midsummer Magic two hours of top-notch entertainment for the whole family!

Drama
The evening will feature the only local performance of Free To Be You And Me, the award-winning play performed by the youth group of the Aberfeldy Drama Club. Ten days later, the group travels to Orkney to represent the Northern District in the SCDA one-act play finals.

Bands
Two highly respected local bands have generously offered to appear on the same night in support of the youth drama. Snowblind - is based in North Perthshire and is a well established rock/heavy metal band in the local music scene. The band has taken part in numerous gigs and recently reached the semi-finals of the Barcode (Perth) Battle of the Bands.

Impulse - is another North Perthshire band, formed by 4 young percussionists as part of an experiment in 2003. Their first performance was at Perth City Hall as part of the Perth Music Festival and, since then, they have played at many venues with great acclaim, including Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

Proceeds from the evening will go towards funding the expenses of the actors in Orkney. Don’t miss out on this great night of entertainment for the entire family!

Tickets are £5.00 with £3.00 for concessions and are available from The Highland Gift Shop or at the door. Doors open at 7::00 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm.
