Eight pupils from Breadalbane Academy with two teachers and an assessor have been on a five-day expedition to the Isle of Rhum as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.

The island is unique with dramatic mountains and sandy beaches with weather veering from sunshine to gale force 8 winds and rain, all in the same day.

Everyone had fun and the eight have now successfully completed the expedition part of their Gold Award.
