Highland Perthshire Transport Link Forged with Top School
A morning and evening mini-bus service to Pitlochry and intermediate villages is now available to the leading Perthshire school, Kilgraston. Pupils will be uplifted at Pitlochry at 7.15am with the transport stopping en route at Dunkeld, Bankfoot and Luncarty. The evening service returns to Pitlochry at around 6.30pm.
Kilgraston bursar, Barry Farrell, told Comment: “This is an important initiative for the school and will make it much easier for families living across rural Perthshire who wish to send their daughters to the only all-girls school in Scotland outside Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
“Our recent academic successes, with some of the best exam results in the country, are making Kilgraston a very popular option for parents who wish to consider the best for their children’s education.

“Kilgraston has always attracted a number of pupils from Pitlochry area and we are keen to make it as easier and safe as possible for our girls to come into school each day with as little hassle as possible”.
For the past two years Kilgraston has produced some of the best academic exam results in the country.
