The Remembrance day parade in Pitlochry was headed by the Robert Wiseman Dairies Vale of Atholl Pipe Band, led by Drum Majors Ian Cramb, Kenny Forbes and Alister Walker and Pipe Major Andy Renwick.
The Royal British Legion, under the command of Kenny MacDonald, chairman of the local branch of theLegion, was joined by various youth organisations. The parade made its way from the Atholl Leisure Centre to the war memorial.
Legion branch chaplain Rev Walter Stuart, with the Rev Malcom Ramsay in attendance, led the prayers. Ally McRae led the singing of the hymn "Oh God our help in ages past" and Pipe Major Angus Clarke played the lament "Flowers of the Forest" followed by "Johnny Cope".
After the laying of the wreaths by the different organisations the band led the parade up to the Church of Scotland.
