Bach Flower Essences

ESTABLISHED IN 1936 by Edward Bach, a Harley Street doctor, the Bach Flower Remedies are now well used and respected throughout the world.

Dr Bach was interested in human nature and, over many years, studied how people responded to disease. He wanted to find a simple method of healing with which people could treat themselves. He found this system of healing in nature identifying 38 remedies from plants and flowers to treat emotions, moods and personality types.

The Remedies are licensed homeopathic medicines and are safe for use by all the family. They work on emotions rather than the physical condition; each remedy treating a specific emotion. The remedies can be taken singly or mixed together and are taken in the form of drops. Most people have heard of Rescue Remedy which is a combination of five flower essences and is used for emergency or stressful situations helping to calm the mind. Rescue Remedy also comes in the form of a cream.

The Remedies are a wonderful support for children who respond quickly to them. Emotional upsets such as impatience, sadness or fear can be helped in a gentle nourishing way.

Sarah Kelly, a State Registered Nurse, Reiki Master/Teacher and Rainbow Reiki Practitioner has used the Remedies for many years. She has completed a training course with the Bach Centre and is qualified as a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner. Sarah is available for consultations and to speak to groups or organisations who are interested in seeking further information on the Remedies.

At certain times in our lives we need a little support and help. Let the remedies help you to be more positive.
