Give 'Gardens' This Xmas for year-round pleasure

OVER THE CENTURIES the fertile soil and gentle climate of Perthshire has inspired botanists, gardeners and horticulturalists. Today we can enjoy this rich legacy, with easy access to some of Britain’s most colourful and unusual gardens - on our own doorstep!

The Perthshire Gardens Collection brings together 11 spectacular examples of the gardener’s art - ranging from wild Himalayan woodlands to small privately owned gardens full of specialist plants through to sumptuous formal gardens in the grounds of stately homes.

Participating gardens throughout Perthshire are: Bolfracks (Aberfeldy), Branklyn (Perth), Bell's Cherrybank (Perth), Cluny House (Aberfeldy), Drummond Castle (Crieff), Glendoick Gardens (by Perth), Hercules Garden at Blair Castle (Blair Atholl), Kinross House Gardens (Kinross - see below), Scone Palace (Perth), Scottish Plant Hunters’ Garden (Pitlochry) and, in Dundee, the University Botanic Garden.

Season Tickets

The Perthshire Gardens Collection offers 2 Season Tickets for the bargain price of just £20. (Tickets also available individually at £15 each). Season tickets enable holders to visit all the gardens as many times as they wish throughout the year.

A 14-Day Ticket is also available for £10.00 and is perfect for people holidaying in the area, giving them unlimited admission to all 11 gardens over a 14-day period.

Availability

Tickets can be purchased, in person, from any Perthshire Tourist Information Centre or by post by contacting Perth Tourist information Centre on 01738 450600 or email perthtic@visitscotland.com. Tickets are on sale throughout the year and gift envelopes are available.
