On 25 March, Lodge Breadalbane No 657 celebrated 125 years of Freemasonry in Aberfeldy with a ceremony, held in the Town Hall, which was followed by a well attended dinner.
A thrift shop was run in October 2005 to assist in the funding of this event and, as a result of this, coupled with the generosity of all who attended the celebrations, the Lodge was able to donate £500 to very deserving local organisations: Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides.
Each group received a cheque to the value equivalent to the years the Lodge has been in the town, £125 pounds.

These were recently presented, on behalf of Lodge members, to local representatives of these organisations, by the Lodge Master Neil Jamieson.
