Heartland FM Promise Auction - and other Fun!
The promise auction on 25 February was attended by a small crowd but with large enthusiasm. As anticipated, it was a fun evening with Bruce Patterson as the auctioneer. There was a good raffle and some excellent tunes by way of entertainment. Thanks go to the members of the Dunkeld and District Strathspey and Reel Society who provided the music.
The sum raised on the evening was £1,350 and Heartland FM would like to thank all the contributors of promises and those who attended on the evening.

A St Patrick’s Day bingo night on 17 March at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in conjunction with the British Red Cross. Entry for this is £3 for adults and £1.50 for children. Irish Stew is included in the price. |

On the 23 March there will be a quiz night at the Palace Hotel in Aberfeldy. This costs £10 per team with a maximum of four and minimum of two per team. Entry forms are available from the Palace and Heartland FM. This price includes supper.
On the 24 March there is to be a Ceilidh Concert in the Birnam Institute. This is a joint fundraising venture with the Dunkeld and Birnam Strathspey and Reel Society who will be providing the music. Further entertainment will be provided by local singers and musicians. There will be room to dance and a bar for refreshments. Tickets cost £6 adults or £4 concession and will be available from the Birnam Institute, Heartland FM and the Strathspey and Reel society members.
