Atholl & Breadalbane Ploughing Society - Latest Match
This year’s Ploughing Match was held at Mill of Logierait Farm, by the kind permission of Mr Peter Guinan. The event was a great success with 19 ploughmen and 3 pairs of horses.
Despite the rain earlier in the week, the field was dry enough for the ploughing. Judges for the day were: Ploughing – Mr B Garden, Carmyllie, Mr C Methven, Balquidder and Mr H Campbell, Aberfeldy. Best Kept Tractor – Mr A Stephen, Balbeggie.
Chairman Martin Kennedy announced the prize list and vice-chairman Jonathan Marshall proposed a well-deserved vote of thanks to all the companies and individuals who made the day such a success.
