Leon Sinden Award Winners Announced
The winners of Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s 11th annual Leon Sinden Awards were announced on Saturday 22 October.
PFT audiences throughout the summer season have been casting their votes for Best Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role, and the annual awards were presented onstage after the final performance of Treasure Island at the theatre on Saturday night.
This year’s winner of Best Supporting Actress was Kezia Burrows for her portrayal of ‘Mayella Ewell’ in To Kill A Mockingbird. Hywel Morgan picked up the award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as ‘Henry VIII’ in A Man For All Seasons. |

Kezia, who is originally from South Wales, was making her Scottish debut, while Hywel, a Welsh-speaker from Cardiff, is now based in London.
Veteran actor Leon Sinden returned to PFT on Saturday evening to present the awards and is pictured above with the winners at the presentation.
